The Center for the Support of Beginning Teachers collaborates with public school systems and university faculty members/CEAP center directors to identify potential funding sources and to submit grant proposals focusing on new teacher development and retention. This process provides opportunities to implement Western's UNC-Tomorrow Initiative (4.7.3.1), Stewards of Place and the Boyer Model of Scholarship.
Z. Smith Reynolds Project START: Supporting, Training, And Retaining Teachers - online program of support for first-year teachers (2006-2008).
