Through an Undergraduate Program

This path is intended for students who wish to enroll as an undergraduate at WCU and pursue the teaching profession.

The BS Ed. degree has many specialties for different grad levels:

• Art (K-12)
• Birth to Kindergarten
• Elementary (K-6)
• English (9-12)
• Health and Physical Education (K-12)
• Math (9-12)
• Middle Grades (6-9)
• Music (K-12)
• Science (Comprehensive, 9-12), concentrating in Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, or Physics
• Social Sciences (9-12)
• Special Education (K-12)

Through a Graduate Program

This path is intended for students who already have at least a bachelor's degree in a non-education field and wish to become a teacher.  You may pursue a post-baccalaureate certificate or the Master of Arts in Teaching degree
