“It was nothing short of a pleasure having a UP participant in my class. I learned as much from them as I hope they learned from me and look forward to having them in future classes.”

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework and set of principles to provide ALL students equal opportunities to learn. Using UDL principles in the classroom makes curriculum and instruction accessible and engaging for all students. Curriculum barriers are reduced; learning is supported; and students gain knowledge, skills and enthusiasm for learning while their learning is validly assessed (UDL Facts for Educators PDF, 2008-2010). We are in the process of developing resource library examples of former assignments and projects from classes our UP Participants have audited. Feel free to check back here for additional examples and resources.
