Review our criminal background check policy. Whether you have a background check from a previous field experience or must complete one now, attach the report electronically to the application. Remember that you have 72 hours to disclose to the Director of Field Experiences any arrest that occurs after you have ordered the background check. A new background check may take 3-5 business days or longer in some cases. Don't wait!
Self-placement is not permitted for these early field experience courses. The exception is students already placed in a classroom as part of their employment. These employed students still need to complete an application.
