Welcome to the Office of Field Experiences, where we coordinate early field experiences, internship, and student teaching placements for all students in the College of Education and Allied Professions various Teacher Education Programs. 

Our field experiences are designed to reflect our commitment to a community of learners guided by knowledge, values, and experiences. 

We work closely with our partners in schools throughout western North Carolina to ensure successful and rewarding placements for each and every one of our students.  Our goal is to seek the best possible placement so that the experience becomes the capstone of each student's educational program.

For new fall 2013 interns and student teachers:  Health Form (delivered with TB test results directly to the host school), Agreement with host school and teacher, and 2012-2013 Handbook for new interns and student teachers.  The 2013-2014 handbook will be available this summer.  We do not anticipate significant changes.
