Biography:

A. Michael Dougherty is the former dean of the College of Education and Allied Professions and a current professor of the counseling program. He is author of Casebook of Psychological Consultation and Collaboration in School and Community Settings (Fourth Edition), published by Brooks/Cole-Wadsworth Publishing Company.

He teaches graduate-level courses in consultation, theories of counseling, and counseling children. He has consulted, taught courses, and made presentations in a variety of international settings including Barbados, Colombia, El Salvador, Germany, Great Britain, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, and Jordan.
