We will host the first ever College of Education and Allied Professions golf tournament
on Saturday, March 23 at the High Vista Golf Course in Mills River, just outside of
Asheville. The entry fee for the tournament is $75 and includes golf and barbeque
afterwards.
The purpose of the tournament is to reconnect our alumni and faculty. We will raise
some money in the process, but we are looking at this as a “friend raising” rather
than a “fund raising” event. For this first one, we’re keeping the costs down, hoping
that we’ll get a lot of players and many happy reunions. We have quite a few current
and retired WCU faculty who have said that they’ll play in our tournament. Check out
the list to see if one of your former professors is going to play.
