How to evaluate a Common Assignment in the BK Program
A Common Assignment is an assignment in a course that is "common" to all students taking that course. Follow these instructions to evaluate students' common assignments in your course.
- Log in to TaskStream
- Look for the “BK Program” portfolio under the "Evaluator" tab and click on it. Contact us if you do not see this.
- Select the radio button beside your course (You should see a message in red text that says "New work submitted!"
- Select the radio button beside "ONLY Individuals with items awaiting Evaluation"
- Click the yellow "Continue" button
- You will see the list of students that have submitted work that needs to be reviewed.
- Click on the yellow "Evaluate" button by one of the students
- Under the heading "File Attachments" you will see one or more links to the work that students have submitted for this assignment. Click on the link(s) to view the student's work
- When you're ready to assign a score, click the green "Evaluate/Score Work" button. A new window will open
- Complete the rubric for this assignment in the new window. If applicable to the rubric, be sure to enter a final score.
- Unless you need to do otherwise, select "Record as final and release evaluation to author now" and click the yellow "submit" button
- You will then return to the list of students awaiting evaluation. Repeat this process for all students that have submitted work.
- When there are no more students in this list, you are Done!
