Learning Outcomes for ASCs
As a result of their training and experience, Academic Skills Consultants will:
- Reflect on their own learning practice and formulate goals for personal learning and development
- Demonstrate an improved understanding of learning and learning strategies
- Communicate effectively and responsibly with students, prospective students and their families, faculty, staff, and WaLC administration
- Integrate information about effective learning strategies, communication, and group interaction to facilitate learning experiences for other students
- Demonstrate effective time management and organization skills
