The success of the WaLC’s course tutoring program depends on faculty support. If you wish to recommend a tutor for your class, please review our instructor agreement before submitting a recommendation.
New tutors are expected to enroll in a one-hour-credit training course, which has been Certified by the College Reading and Learning Association.
Even if you do not have tutors assigned to your courses, please include the WaLC’s syllabus statement in your course syllabus and create a link to us (http://walc.wcu.edu/) in your Blackboard course.If you know students who need help to improve their time management, note taking, reading, studying or test taking skills, encourage them to make an appointment for an Academic Skills Consultation or to visit our online learning resources.
