Western Carolina confers degrees at the end of each semester. There are conferral dates in May, August, and December.
Commencement Ceremonies are held in May and December. Summer candidates may participate in the December ceremony.
Students must apply to have a degree conferred.
When to Apply: Degree candidates should apply according to the schedule below. Do not wait until the final semester to apply.
