Service Description
System administrators and engineers at Western Carolina University are responsible for monitoring, investigating, and correcting issues related to supported server applications. Example requests include:
• Restarting supported applications that have become unresponsive.
• Troubleshooting errors in supported applications.
• Notifying application owners of issues related to their service
Requirements/Limitations
Limited to server applications supported by the IT Division.

WCU faculty and staff
Service Availability
Available during regular business hours, Monday –Friday, 8AM – 5PM.
IT’s Role
Perform tasks needed to investigate and correct issues related to one of the server applications supported by the IT Division. IT may assess the risk of making specific changes and require mitigation or deferral in some instances.
