A centralized service to administer and distribute licensed software to WCU faculty, staff, and students. Contracts are negotiated through UNC General Administration.
List of licensed software managed by IT:
Microsoft Campus and School agreement
Includes the following software for campus-wide use by faculty/staff/students:
- Microsoft Windows
- Microsoft Office Professional
- SQL Server
- Visual Studio
Faculty and Staff may use software at home through work-at-home agreement. Students may install on personal computers. Media may be purchased through the Bookstore.

Symantec Endpoint Protection (anti-virus)
For campus-wide use by faculty/staff/students. May be installed on home or personal computer.
Red Hat Linux
