Software Downloads for Personally-owned Computers
WCU has many different programs available for students, faculty, and staff members
to download for PERSONAL HOME use. These programs include the Microsoft Office Suite
Versions 2010 for PC and 2011 for Mac. The programs available for download on this
page are NOT FOR WCU-OWNED computers. To request MS Office 2010 for Windows or MS
Office 2011 for Mac on your WCU-owned computer, please contact the IT Help Desk at
227-7487, email ithelp@wcu.edu, or visit https://help.wcu.edu.
MS Office and Windows Disks also Available for Work-at-Home
Thanks to a Microsoft Campus Agreement, Western Carolina University faculty and staff have work-at-home rights to the MS Office Professional (Mac or Windows) and MS Windows operating system update software. Faculty and staff may purchase Windows 7 Ultimate and Microsoft Office (2010 for Windows, 2008 for Mac) from The University Bookstore. The cost is $15 each for the DVD media.
