Service Description
We manage and operate an equipment checkout system that allows for students, faculty and staff to use equipment including cameras, voice recorders, and Netbooks for set periods of time. Checkout times vary depending on the items demand for use. For example, a Netbook may be checked out for four hours an a camera may be checked out for two days.

Currently enrolled Students and currently employed Faculty and Staff with a valid photo ID

IT’s Role
We provide support for all aspects of the Equipment Checkout including troubleshooting hardware and software issues that arise with the equipment being checked out, as well as basic instruction on proper use of the equipment.
Support
The Technology Commons is staffed with trained Student Technology Assistants to aid Faculty, Staff and Students with checking in and out equipment associated with the Equipment Checkout system.
