How to Access/Request this Service
Students are assigned a My Cat account and pin when they have been accepted and signified their intent to attend, by paying a deposit.
Faculty and Staff are assigned a My Cat account and pin as part of the HR hiring and intake process.
Service Description
Western Carolina University provides access to a wide variety of services through the My Cat portal.
Faculty:
- Student Rosters
- Submit 5th Week Grades
- Submit Final Grades
- Email Students
- Advising Information
- 1st and 2nd Week attendance
- Generate a Degree Audit
Students:
- Register for or drop from classes
- Pay tuition
- View Grades
- View Unofficial Transcript
- Generate a Degree Audit
- Submit financial aid documents and accept financial aid awards
- Submit Work-study and student-worker time cards
Staff:
- Add/update email addresses
- Submit and/or view Timesheets
- View leave time accrued/used
- View Pay information
Requirements/Limitations
Services are available on any computer that has access to the Internet.
Eligibility
Students, Faculty, and Staff
Availability
Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with the exception of irregularly scheduled maintenance.
IT's Role
Maintain the availability of the resource; assist with access (username and password); assist with problems related to navigation within Personal Services tabs or sub-tabs.
