Submit a service request to the Help Desk. If the request meets project criteria, the ticket will be closed and the request will be forwarded to IT Governance.
Service Description
Application developers or analysts or database administrators at Western Carolina University are responsible for managing identities and granting or terminating access to existing features – reports, online forms, scheduled jobs, data feeds, workflows, etc. – related to supported business systems. Example requests include:
• Grant an individual access to a Banner report
• Create a new Banner identity group within the role management process
• Add an identity group in Banner and set up control information to create and maintain
a security group within the Active Directory synchronization process
Requirements/Limitations
Limited to business systems supported by the IT Division. Access may require approval.

Available during regular business hours, Monday –Friday, 8AM – 5PM

Perform tasks needed to manage identities for one of the business systems supported by the IT Division
