Business Systems - Identity and Access Management

Service Description

Application developers or analysts or database administrators at Western Carolina University are responsible for managing identities and granting or terminating access to existing features – reports, online forms, scheduled jobs, data feeds, workflows, etc. – related to supported business systems. Example requests include:

  • Grant an individual access to a Banner report
  • Create a new Banner identity group within the role management process
  • Add an identity group in Banner and set up control information to create and maintain a security group within the Active Directory synchronization process


Limited to business systems supported by the IT Division. Access may require approval.

Available during regular business hours, Monday –Friday, 8am – 5pm

Perform tasks needed to manage identities for one of the business systems supported by the IT Division
