Problem 11087: Internet Explorer 11, included as part of the Windows Updates by Microsoft, is not compatible with Blackboard. WORK-AROUND: Roll back the version of Internet Explorer to version 10 or use an alternative supported web browser. Problem 10670: Advisors with a long list of advisees are not able to use the "email your advisees" link inside the Personal Services tab in MyCat. When clicking on the link nothing happens. This is not a bug with the software or a user error; it is simply how web browsers handle long URL strings (formatted text strings used by browsers and email clients to identify a network resources on the internet) . Problem 11021: Students using Safari 5.1.0 on Mac OS X (10.6 or earlier) are unable to use Student Email icons to create new email, add attachments or sign out of Catamount Mail. This is due to a compatibility issue between the browser and Office 365. Microsoft has identified a fix for this issue which is in the process of being built and will be applied within the next month. Overall resolution timeline is set for January. WORK-AROUND: Students can successfully use Catamount Mail by switching to a different browser during this time. RESOLVED: 1/13/14. Problem 11023: Clients may experience difficulties utilizing all features of Outlook Web Access (OWA) via Internet Explorer 11. Accessing outlook email using the Outlook Web client through this version of Internet Explorer may result in the loading of OWA light which has limited access and options than the full version. WORK-AROUND: Clients needing the full version of OWA should switch to a different web browser until a fix has been identified. RESOLVED: The Exchange upgrade, from 2007 to 2013, scheduled and carried out in late December addressed this issue. Exchange 2013 supports Internet Explorer 11. (information last updated, 2/14/14)
