A dedication ceremony for Western Carolina University’s new $46 million, state-of-the-art Health and Human Sciences Building will be held Thursday, Feb. 28. The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 10 a.m. and will be followed by tours and demonstrations in simulation and research laboratories as well as in clinical spaces.

Work continues on Health and Human Sciences Building
Western Carolina University’s Health and Human Sciences Building, under construction off Little Savannah Road, is projected to be completely built by fall 2011 and operational in spring 2012.
Trustees approve proposed tuition, fees for 2010-11
Western Carolina University’s board of trustees approved proposed tuition and fees for 2010-11, including a 6.5 percent increase in campus-based tuition that would fund programs providing additional support to students during their freshman and sophomore years to help keep them on track to graduate.
