| Skills, Experience, and Special Requirements: | Interest in water quality and environmental sciences. Ability to conduct research
and work well with others. |
| Volunteer Involvement: | Collecting and analyzing data, especially by biology, geoscience, computer science,
and social science students. Work with landowners to reduce erosion and pollution.
Plant trees (Saturdays, 3 hour time commitment). Greet and assist at meetings (Monday
evenings). Help with stream clean-ups. Assist in public communications (skilled)
by writing articles for the newsletter, developing public surveys, helping with elementary
school water quality teaching, video production, and document monitoring. |
