| Location: | Hwy 19/74E to Hwy 28 North, turn right. Approximately 12 miles, turn left onto Stecoah
Road (just past Stecoah Diner) follow signs approximately 1/4 mile on the left. |
| Agency Description: | Stecoah Valley Center offers 20 programs to 15,000 people annually. We preserve and
promote Southern Appalachian mountain culture through a summer concert/dinner series,
an upscale artisans gallery, on-site garden and tailgate market and many other community
programs. |
| Training: | Will be provided on facilities, non-profit structure and direct training for various
programs. |
| Time Commitment: | 4 hour shifts. |
| Skills, Experience, and Special Requirements: | Drug-free workplace. Student volunteers must be at least 18 years old. |
| Volunteer Involvement: | Work with public/tourists at concerts, dinners, etc. Various other opportunities including catering, after-school program, gardening and retail gallery. |
