| Agency Description: | Smoky Mountain Pregnancy Care Center is a non-profit agency that offers care and support
to women and men facing an unplanned pregnancy. Our free and confidential services
include but are not limited to pregnancy tests, limited ultrasound, maternity and
baby clothes and accessories, adoption referral, post-abortion counseling, educational
materials, and friendship. Smoky Mountain Pregnancy Care Center services are offered
without regard to age, race, income, nationality, religious affiliation, disability
and/or arbitrary circumstances. Clients of the center are treated with kindness and
compassion. |

| Skills, Experience, and Special Requirements: | It is recommended that volunteers have a passion for assisting those in an unplanned
pregnancy, and have good listening and effective communication skills. Volunteers
must be mature and be able to respect client confidentiality, and follow instructions. |
| Volunteer Involvement: | Each volunteer will be evaluated and placed in a position based on their unique passion,
talent, and skill. |
