| Volunteer Involvement: |
Volunteers will sit and talk with clients, assist with clients, assist with various activities (games, crafts, etc.), serve ice water, and provide other forms of assistance. Music, art, and performing arts majors are welcome! Contact Claudia for more information. Mountain Trace Nursing Center is currently looking for volunteers interested in doing activities with nursing home residents on Saturdays. Activities take place at 10:00am and 2:00pm and volunteers can take part in either or both. Currently, morning activities consist of devotion reading or catching up on current events, but these can be adjusted to meet the needs and interests of the volunteers. Other examples of activities include: making cards, painting, storytelling or doing a craft. Mountain Trace will provide needed materials.
