Park, on your right. |
| Agency Description: | JCGEP is a landfill recovery program. Its mission is to offer environmental protection,
educational opportunities, and increased economic development to the community through
the utilization of landfill gas and other clean, renewable energy resources. Capture
of the landfill gas not only ensures free fuel for JCGEP tenants, but also provides
direct, measurable improvements in local air quality. JCGEP acts as a small business
incubator, while providing information and a working model to the public about building
techniques and energy conservation. JCGEP operates the only landfill-gas powered blacksmith
forges in the world. |
