| Agency Description: | Democracy North Carolina is a nonpartisan organization working to fulfill the promise

| Training: | 1 hour orientation by phone at beginning of project. |
| Time Commitment: | 2-3 hours per week. |
| Skills, Experience, and Special Requirements: | Interest in politics and commitment to social justice. Also, public speaking skills
and willingness to network with student and community organizations. |
| Volunteer Involvement: | Public education on issues relating to voting rights in North Carolina, including
same-day voter registration, campaign finance reform, lobbying, and ethics reform. |
