laundromat, onto Monteith Gap Road. Go approximately one block and take the last
left before crossing over Cullowhee Creek. This appears to be a gravel driveway,
but it is Tracer Lane. Go 100 feet and take the first right onto a grass driveway
following Cullowhee Creek. |
| Agency Description: | Avant Garden is a locally owned and entirely organic, primitive and holistically-sustainable
farm that is within walking distance right behind campus. We are in our 5th year of
operation and are looking forward to a highly successful season this spring, fall
and summer. We grow and sell a large variety of crops, including everything you would
normally find in a grocery store and then many things you will not, to both the 'Whee
Farmer's Market and The Jackson County Farmer's Market in addition to local restaurants.
The farm also produces duck eggs, and raw goats milk (for animal consumption only).
