- November 2011 – The 2020 Commission Drafts Strategic Directions/Update to BOT
- Early December 2011 – Campus/Community Feedback on Strategic Directions
- Late December 2011-Early February 2012– Subcommittees Develop Strategic Goals/Initiatives
- February-March 2012 – The 2020 Commission Drafts Final Strategic Plan; Update to BOT
- April 2012 –Open hearings on Draft Plan
- May 2012 – The 2020 Commission Finalizes Plan
