The role of Western Carolina University’s photography office is to promote the university through visual means such as:
- Ads
- Athletic media guides, programs and posters
- Departmental pieces
- Displays
- Newspapers
- Student recruitment pieces
- Web Pages
Location
The photography office includes a studio located within the Public Relations suite
in Room 420 of the H.F. Robinson Administration Building.
Notice and Fees
The photography staff is constantly covering assignments during the fall and spring
semesters, and advance notice of at least one week is preferred when requesting photo
services at an event. There is no charge for photography services, but there is a
charge for prints. A list of print sizes and fees may be obtained by contacting the
office.
Requests for News or Publications Images
Requests for images to be used as a news item or to accompany a news article should
be directed through the News Services staff. Requests for images to be used in publications or displays that are created by Creative
Services should be made through the Creative Services staff.
