Liars Bench programs are offered off and on throughout the year. Public presentations emphasize Appalachian people, music, stories, and places.
First Thursdays Old-Time Music and Bluegrass Jams. Musicians get together monthly to share tunes and toe tapping steps. Concert/ Jams are held on the first Thursdays, October through April in the Mountain Heritage Center auditorium.
Arti-Facts! is a cultural arts program for families that links old-time traditions of the past to the present.
Crafts at the Center is a series of demonstrations and hands-on activities by regional artists.
