WCU’s recyclables are:
- Collected daily and stored in roll-off containers near WCU’s Print Shop.
- Once full, these bins are hauled off to the Jackson County transfer station where they are mixed with the recycling from the Staffed Recycling Centers (SRC’s) located around the county.
- Jackson County ships all this material (including WCU’s recyclables) to be processed in Asheville.
