UNDER CONSTRUCTION
New Health and Gerontology Building, HHS, on new site, West Campus. Construction Notice to Proceed issued 5-18-09. The facility is a Silver LEED project with four floors tucked into the mountain side. The facility will serve the university for instructional purposes and the community for enhancement of the academic program and university/community involvement. Outdoor garden plaza provides opportunity for small outdoor classes and study.

Major renovation to Harrill Residence Hall on WCU Main campus. The building is a nine story, 71,000 sq. ft. masonry structure with concrete flooring and roof system, constructed in 1971. The scope of work includes code and ADA upgrade; HVAC, plumbing and electrical upgrade (presently an un-air conditioned building). Initial Phase is for programming and design phase to develop associated costs to establish actual budget.

Major renovation of William Chambers Coker Laboratory at Highlands Biological Station. The project consists of the interior/exterior renovation of a single story, 6737 square foot building, with a single-story addition of approximately 504 square feet. The project will include laboratory casework, new HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
