An overview of the project management framework and knowledge areas; the strategic context of projects; introduction to project management tools. PREQ: Completion of prerequisites PM 500, 505, 515 or their equivalents.

Human resource, legal, financial, and logistical principles for project planning; preparation of initial project plan documentation. PREQ: 650.
