Western Carolina University publishes two issues of The Record, the general catalog and the graduate catalog. Both describe academic programs, regulations, and policies.

Copies of the appropriate issues are made available to all students registered at the university, high school principals and guidance counselors, college and university libraries, and all public and private high schools and institutions of higher learning in North Carolina.
