IT and Client Services launch new ticketing system

IT and Client Services are happy to announce Cherwell Service Desk, our new Helpdesk ticketing system. Cherwell is replacing the Remedy system, which we have used for the past several years.

There are many new features with Cherwell, one of which is a self-service option available to all WCU faculty, staff and students. From the self-service Web entry, you can enter support requests, track open requests online in real time, view campuswide issues, and search for answers in the ever-expanding knowledge base.

Notification email and other correspondence will look different as it is now generated in Cherwell. We’ll be adding more content complete with statistical reporting and interesting facts as we go along. Please check back and get to know the site and certainly feel free to use it as an alternative to calling the Helpdesk if you prefer.
