United States Mail is collected and distributed to the Student Mail Center Monday through Friday, and delivered to each resident's mail box before 3 p.m. During your first week on campus, you should stop by the mailroom to receive your mailbox keys. To ensure that your mail reaches you as quickly as possible, make sure that correspondents have your correct address. If any part of your address is wrong, your mail will take longer to reach you. If you have a mail problem, speak with someone in the mailroom between 10:30a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Please note that during the summer mail is not delivered to the individual boxes. Students may pick up their mail from the Student Mail Center in the during designated times.

UPS packages should be picked up at the Student Mail Center between 10:30a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Oversized U.S. Mail packages that will not fit into your mailbox can be picked up at the Cullowhee Post Office. Small U.S. Mail packages can be picked up at the Student Mail Center. With each of the types of the packages, a resident will receive a notice in his/her University E-mail account as to where to pick up the package. All students must either check their University Email or have it forwarded to an account which they check most often. In any case, proper student identification must be shown.

When you check out of the residence hall, a Mail-Forwarding Address Card must be completed if you want your mail forwarded to you. ail Forwarding Cards are removed from the active file after one semester. Mail addressed to individuals who do not have an active Mail Forwarding Card on file will be returned to sender. Mail will be forwarded according to United States Postal Service Guidelines.
