BOX OFFICE

The box office is located inside the FAPAC lobby, closest to the parking lot that faces Centennial Drive.

Hours of Operation

  • Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays and Sundays - One hour prior to a performance only.
  • Summer and university holiday hours may vary.

Buying Tickets: There are three ways to buy tickets as outlined below.

  • IN PERSON at the box office during regular hours - Cash, check, Visa and MasterCard accepted.
  • BY PHONE during regular hours at 828-227-2479 - All reservations require payment; Visa/MasterCard accepted.
  • ON LINE 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - Processing fees apply.

Your Tickets: Tickets purchased in advanced will be placed on Will Call and may be picked up at the box office at any time during hours of operation or at the time of the performance. The box office remains open for 15 minutes after the performance begins.

Our Policy: ALL TICKET SALES ARE FINAL. No refunds or exchanges will be issued unless the performance is cancelled. FAPAC reserves the right to make changes or substitutions to the lineup should production problems arise with any listed performance.

Rates

  • Group Rates: Available for selected shows for groups of 15 or more.
  • Senior Rates: Available for selected shows for those 60 years of age or older.
  • Student Rates: Available for most shows for any student of any age at any institution. ID required.

Children: A ticket is required for anyone entering the performance hall, including young children. Children of all ages may purchase a student ticket. Should a child become disruptive, an accompanying adult may be asked to wait with them in the lobby. Most of our performances are not recommended for children under five years of age. Please use discretion when choosing to bring a child to a performance.

Gift Certificates: Available for Galaxy of Stars subscriptions and single ticket orders. Please contact the box office to purchase a gift certificate.

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS

Accessibility: The FAPAC is accessible to individuals with disabilities. Wheelchair spaces are available in the orchestra and balcony of the performance hall. For special accommodations, please contact the box office at 828-227-2479.

Assisted Listening: Infrared assisted listening devices are available at no charge at the box office on a first come, first served basis. Please return the device to the box office or a member of the house staff at the end of the performance.

HOUSE COURTESIES

Performances: All performances begin promptly at the designated show time.

Seating: It is our policy to open the house one half hour (30 minutes) before curtain time. Occasionally, a short delay may be necessary due to technical requirements. Patrons arriving late will be seated at the discretion of the house manager.

Smoking: The WCU Fine and Performing Arts Center is a smoke-free facility.

Food and Beverages: No food or beverage is allowed in the performance hall. Please visit our concession stand before the show and during the intermission.

Cell Phones and Pagers: As a courtesy to performers and other audience members, please turn off all electronic devices prior to curtain time.

Photography and Recording Devices: No photography or recording of any kind is permitted in the FAPAC due to copyright laws.

In Case of Fire: In the unlikely event of a fire, please locate the nearest exit and follow the instructions of the house management staff.

Complaints and Problems: If you have a problem while attending a performance, please ask to speak to the house manager or contact us.
