On Western Carolina University's one hundredth birthday in 1989, WCU alumni took a collection and built the tower as a symbol of the impression WCU has made on their lives.

Visit our campus and walk beneath the arches of this tower and you'll see the names of many alumni who have left their mark on WCU because WCU left her mark on them.
