NEW!  Spring 2012 Internship and Student Teaching Orientation

• Interns / Student Teachers, Cooperating Teachers, and University Supervisors should make every effort to attend ONE of these sessions. (Academic Supervisors are also welcome to attend)
• Most logistical information (basic requirements, forms, etc.) can be found at http://ofe.wcu.edu/.
• These site-based orientation sessions will primarily be a conversation about what the internship experience is supposed to be and HOW to supervise an intern, and it will focus on issues like professional expectations, meaningful feedback, and consistent assessment (including the Teacher Work Sample and the Certification of Teaching Capacity).

Orientation sessions will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM at the locations below.

Spring 2012 Internship and Student Teaching Applications are no longer being accepted.

Spring 2012 Placements are recieve approximately 1-3 months after the Application Deadline, depending on the school.

Fall 2012 Internship and Student Teaching Applications are due the last Friday in February.  Please Note: The Application Process will be changing for Fall 2012 Applications, please check back for more information.
