     Obtain a list of approved guided electives from their advisor
     Declare a concentration and obtain a sequential list of concentration courses from their advisor
Second semester sophomores should~
     Take EDCI 231, a prerequisite for admission to the Professional Education Sequence (PES)
     Apply for admission to the Professional Education Sequence
     Register for the PES Interview
     Pass Praxis I

Upper Level Perspective (ULP): An approved Upper Level Liberal Studies Perspectives course is required in one of the Liberal Studies Perspectives categories.

Students must be fully admitted to the Professional Education Sequence before they can enroll in the following junior level courses:  SPED 312, SPED 407, SPED 413, SPED 423, EDRD 474
Students not fully admitted to PES should expect their graduation to be delayed.
Students must have and maintain a 2.5 in their major, all grades of C or better in all courses beyond liberal studies.
First semester juniors should~
     Take SPED 312, a prerequisite for SPED 413 and EDRD 474 taken in the second semester of junior year.
Second semester juniors should ~
     Apply for SPED 484: Internship I / Practicum

PSY 320 is a prerequisite for PSY 321
Students must maintain a 2.5 in the major, all grades of C or better in any courses beyond liberal studies.
First Semester Seniors~
     Complete their 50 hours of Service Learning and turn in documentation to their advisors
     Apply for Internship I / Student Teaching
     Apply to take Praxis II
     Apply for Graduation
Second Semester Seniors~
     Must turn in their Teaching Portfolios: UG and Teacher Work Sample
    Must complete Praxis II exams to obtain NC Licensure(s)
