A team of 13 students will participate in the EV Challenge model solar car race at the NC Solar Center at NC State University in Raleigh on May 16, 2009.

Summer Scholars residential camp is June 22-25, 2009. Students who applied have been notified that they are participating. Enrollment for Summer Scholars camp has been closed.

Upcoming fall and spring Saturday Academy dates for 2009/2010 will be released later this summer.

In the event of snow or ice, please call 828-227-2712 and listen to the recorded message or check this website. You may also check WLOS (channel 13) for weather-related announcements regarding our program. If buses cannot run we will cancel the Saturday Academy. This may occur on Friday or early Saturday morning.  If possible students will be notified at school.
