Tailgating parking/areas are organized into five general categories:

     • Alcohol Free Areas: Walker A, Walker Hall, Scott Hall, Belk Lots (No permit needed)

     • Alumni Areas: Inquiries should be made to Marty Ramsey at 828-227-7335.

     • Catamount Club Areas: Inquiries should be made to Bradley Gorham at 828-227-3794.

     • Alcohol Permissible Areas for Visiting Fans: Baseball Lots and/or additional designated areas to be
        identified as needed (No permit needed)
       Inquiries regarding parking and traffic services should go to 828-227-7275.

     • Alcohol Permissible WCU Student Area: the Fieldhouse Lot (Permit Required- see regulations
       below).

Current WCU students, faculty, and staff who wish to tailgate in the Student Alcohol Permitted Fieldhouse lot must fill out and submit an application for approval to the University Center. Anyone is welcome to visit students in this lot. Applications must be filled out when purchasing permits the week prior to the home game.

Space availability is first come / first serve.

Permits for the first game on September 12 vs. Gardner-Webb will go on sale Monday, August 31, at 8:00am at the Information Desk on the 2nd floor of the A.K. Hinds University Center.

STUDENT TAILGATE PERMIT COSTS:

Single Game Permit:  $15.00

Season Package Permit:  $50.00

*No other discount or combination price packages are available!

*Permits will go on sale the Monday before the home game at 8:00am and will stop being sold that Friday at 12:00pm. Permits cannot be purchased in advance of one week for each game, with the exception of the first home game.
