Lieutenant

Lieutenant Anthony is a native of Bryson City, North Carolina and graduated from Swain County High School. Lieutenant Anthony also graduated from Southwestern Community College with an Associate of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Before starting his career in law enforcement, Lieutenant Anthony served in the United States Air Force. Before coming to Western Carolina University (WCU), Lieutenant Anthony worked with the Andrews and Bryson City police departments. Lieutenant Anthony also worked with the Guest Safety Department at Harrah’s Casino in Cherokee, North Carolina. Lieutenant Anthony joined the WCU Police Department in 2006. Lieutenant Anthony is responsible for administering the patrol division. In his leisure time, Lieutenant Anthony enjoys hunting and fishing.
