Rachel Jellis on the Australian coast

"Studying abroad has been the most amazing thing I have ever done. I have learned so much about who I am and what I want to do in life."

Teaching Fellow Rachel Jellis spent the spring 2008 semester at Australia's University of Wollongong.

The WCU Teaching Fellows Program offers a host of traveling opportunities for students throughout the year. The Discovery Trip provides an opportunity for rising sophomores to visit various elementary, middle, and high schools across North Carolina. Students often return to campus with a preference to teach in a particular area or grade level due to the experiences and opportunities provided on this trip.
