WCU continues to work with the Carnegie Academy for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (CASTL) as an extension of work begun as an institutional participant in their Campus Program from 2006-2009. SoTL Leadership Team
The SoTL Leadership Team is the advisory body for WCU's SoTL program. Its members, who serve either in ex officio capacities or for three-year terms, come from the University's faculty, staff and administration. In addition to its advisory responsibilities, the committee will originate institutional level SoTL (and SoTL related) research that highlights the innovative teaching and learning practices taking place across the campus.
