Biography:

I came to WCU in 2002 and have loved being here!  I teach Introduction to Audiology, Acoustics and Aural Rehabilitation, provide hearing screening opportunities for students, perform diagnostics and hearing aid fittings/orientation in the clinic and travel across the seven westernmost counties in North Carolina testing children’s hearing.  I am also the Speech and Hearing Clinic director.

One of the most interesting aspects of my job is being involved in student recruitment and clinic placements!  I enjoy advising at both the undergraduate and graduate level.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding our program at Western Carolina.

In my time away from work I enjoy spending time with my family (husband Merritt and two daughters Sydney and Olivia). We are fortunate to live in a great area with lots of outdoor activities.  Western is a great campus located in a beautiful area of Western North Carolina. Come see what we have to offer!
