Biography:

Dr. Macaulay received his Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. His research interests include the modern South, modern American history, and concepts of masculinity. His publications include Marching in Step: The Citadel and Post-World War II America under contract with the University of Georgia Press, and articles in the South Carolina Historical Magazine, Southern Cultures, and the Journal of East Tennessee History.
