Country music star Billy Currington (right) will perform in a concert that begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 1, in Western Carolina University’s Ramsey Regional Activity Center.
The concert is presented by Last Minute Productions, the university’s student-run entertainment and activity planning organization.
Currington’s hits include “Good Directions,” “Tangled Up,” “Walk a Little Straighter,” “Must Be Doin’ Somethin’ Right” and “I Got a Feelin.’”
Opening the show will be country vocalist Ashley Monroe (left), whose songs include “I Don’t Want To” and “Satisfied.”
Advance tickets are still available. Prices for WCU students are $15 for arena seats and $20 for floor seats. General admission and day-of-show ticket prices are $20 for arena seats and $25 for floor seats. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
