After earning ninety hours, the student must file a graduation application form with the Dean and pay a $30 graduation fee to the university. Students must take 18 hours in fall or spring semester or take summer course to fulfill the total 128 hour graduation requirement for social work major. (Students who only take 15 credit hours each semester will come up short.) * Students meet upper level perspective requirement by choosing a 300-400 level course in one of the Liberal Studies Perspective Categories. ** Students should formally apply to the social work program after completing SOCW 151 and completing or be enrolled in SOCW 251 and SOCW 253. Students must have and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or above to be accepted into and remain in the social work program.
