WCU to offer swing and salsa class May 5-7
4/25/2008 - Western Carolina University will offer a swing and salsa class for teens and adults from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Monday, May 5, through Wednesday, May 7, in Breese Gymnasium.
“Dancing is a great way to meet new people, but, most importantly, swing and salsa dancing are fun,” said instructor Stephanie Phipps
Phipps, a 2005 graduate of Smoky Mountain High School, has been involved in dance for more than 15 years.
No partner or previous experience in swing and salsa dancing is required.
An early registration fee of $35 per person is available until Friday, May 2. After May 2 the fee is $40 per person.
