MSW Employment Issues
We strongly advise our students not to attempt full-time employment while enrolled full-time in the MSW Program. The curriculum is challenging and time consuming; attempting to work and pursue the degree can create problems with class attendance, participation, completion of assignments, and significant difficulties in completion of field education hours.
Under no condition will students be given credit for field instruction by simply continuing their employment.
